FAQ

Answers to the most frequently asked questions about Soku.

What platforms does Soku support?

Soku supports publishing to seven social media platforms:
PlatformSupported Content Types
InstagramImage, Video, Carousel
TikTokVideo, Photo
YouTubeVideo
FacebookText, Image, Video
X (Twitter)Text, Image, Video
ThreadsText, Image
LinkedInText, Image, Video
You can publish to any combination of these platforms from a single post. See Connecting Platforms for setup instructions.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. During the trial, you can connect platforms, publish posts, use AI transcription, and access the API — everything works exactly as it would on a paid plan. See Free Trial for full details.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All Soku plans can be canceled at any time with no penalties or cancellation fees. When you cancel:
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • Your account and data are preserved after cancellation.
  • You can resubscribe at any time to reactivate your account.
See Managing Your Subscription for cancellation instructions.

Does scheduling hurt my views or engagement?

No. When Soku publishes a scheduled post, it uses each platform’s official API to create the post at the scheduled time. The platform treats it the same as if you had posted natively from the app. There is no difference in how the platform’s algorithm handles the content.

Who is Soku for?

Soku is designed for anyone who publishes content to social media regularly:
AudienceHow Soku helps
Content creatorsPublish to all platforms at once. Repurpose a single video across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more.
SolopreneursSave hours each week by scheduling posts, automating reposts, and using AI tools for captions.
Small teamsCoordinate publishing from one shared dashboard instead of juggling multiple apps.
AgenciesManage multiple client accounts and platforms from a single workspace with the Agency plan.

How do credits work?

Credits track your usage of AI-powered features like transcription and AI content generation.
  • Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allocation (100,000 for Starter, 150,000 for Pro and Agency).
  • Credits are consumed when you use AI features. For example, each transcription costs 1 credit.
  • New credits are added to your balance on each billing renewal date.
  • Unused credits roll over month to month — they do not expire.
If you run out of credits, AI features are paused, but all other Soku features (publishing, scheduling, reposting) continue to work normally. See Credits System for a detailed explanation.

Does Soku have an API?

Yes. Soku provides a full Public REST API that gives you programmatic access to:
  • Creating and scheduling posts
  • Managing media uploads
  • Working with templates
  • Triggering transcriptions
  • Managing repurpose links
API access is included on all plans (Starter, Pro, and Agency). You can generate API keys from Settings > API in your dashboard. See the API Reference for full documentation.

Does Soku support multiple accounts per platform?

Yes. The number of accounts you can connect per platform depends on your subscription plan:
PlanAccounts per Platform
Starter1
Pro2
Agency5
For example, on the Pro plan you could connect 2 Instagram accounts, 2 TikTok accounts, 2 YouTube channels, and so on — each platform gets its own limit. See Managing Multiple Accounts for details on how multi-account support works.

What video and image formats are supported?

TypeAccepted FormatsMax Size
VideoMP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV500 MB
ImageJPEG, PNG, WebP50 MB
PNG images are automatically converted to JPEG for platform compatibility. See Media Formats and Limits for full details.

How does automated reposting work?

Automated reposting lets you republish your best content on a schedule you define. Once set up, Soku automatically selects content from your post history and republishes it to your connected accounts. You can enable or disable reposting per account in Settings > Integrations. See Automated Reposting for setup instructions.

What payment methods does Soku accept?

Soku uses Stripe for payment processing and accepts major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is handled securely by Stripe and is never stored on Soku’s servers. See Billing and Invoices for more details.
