Navigating the Dashboard

The Soku dashboard is organized into a left sidebar with links to every major section of the app. This page explains what each section does and when you will use it.

Dashboard Overview

When you log in to mysoku.io, you land on the Dashboard — your home screen. The left sidebar stays visible on every page and gives you access to all sections of the app. The sidebar is collapsible on smaller screens. Here is a summary of every section:

Dashboard (Home)

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a high-level view of your account activity. What you will find here:
  • Key Metrics — Engagement rate, total engagement, and average views per post across all platforms.
  • Growth Trends — Sparkline charts showing views, likes, comments, and shares over a configurable time range. Use the time range buttons to switch between 1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year. Growth percentages update automatically to compare the newest data against the oldest data in your selected range.
  • Platform Ranking — See which of your connected platforms are performing best. Each platform shows its share of your total metrics as a percentage. Use the metric toggle tabs to rank platforms by different metrics (see below).
  • Top Performing Posts — Click any platform card in the Platform Ranking section to drill into a detail view showing your top 5 posts ranked by views, engagement rate, and saves.
  • Platform Breakdown — Per-platform stat cards showing views, likes, comments, shares, and saves.
  • Onboarding stepper — If you are new to Soku, a guided stepper walks you through: Welcome → Connect social accounts → Enable reposting. This appears until you complete the initial setup.
  • Quick actions — Shortcuts to common tasks like creating a post or connecting a new platform.

Platform Ranking

The Platform Ranking section ranks your connected platforms from best to worst performing. Each platform is shown with a progress bar and a numeric value. You can toggle between five metrics using the tabs at the top of the section:
TabWhat it showsDisplay
All (default)Each platform’s share of your total combined metrics (views + likes + shares + saves + engagement)Percentage (e.g. 48.2%)
ViewsEach platform’s share of your total viewsPercentage (e.g. 62.1%)
LikesEach platform’s share of your total likesPercentage (e.g. 35.7%)
SharesEach platform’s share of your total sharesPercentage (e.g. 41.3%)
SavesEach platform’s share of your total savesPercentage (e.g. 28.9%)
All percentages across your connected platforms add up to 100%, so you can see at a glance how much each platform contributes to your overall numbers. When you switch tabs, platforms re-sort so the platform with the largest share for that metric appears at the top. The progress bars and values animate to reflect the new ranking.
Use the metric tabs to identify which platforms drive the most views versus which ones generate the most saves or shares. This helps you tailor your content strategy per platform.
The Dashboard is your starting point, but you can navigate directly to any section using the left sidebar at any time.

Create

The Create page is where you compose and publish new content. What you can do here:
  • Select one or more platforms to publish to (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Snapchat) using the platform picker dropdown.
  • Choose your content type: image or video.
  • Write your caption with a real-time character counter per platform.
  • Upload media via drag and drop, or select files from your Media Library.
  • Toggle Separate Captions to customize the caption for each platform individually.
  • Use AI transcription to transcribe video content and optionally generate captions.
  • Configure TikTok-specific options (privacy level, allow comments, allow duet, allow stitch, commercial content flags).
  • Preview how your post will appear on a mobile device in the right-side preview panel.
  • Publish immediately or schedule for a specific date and time using the sticky footer buttons.
For a full walkthrough of the Create flow, see Creating a Post.

Posts

The Posts section shows everything you have published or scheduled. It is divided into three views, accessible via tabs:

Published

A chronological list of all posts you have published, with a graph showing your posting trends over time. For each post, you can see:
  • The content and media that were published.
  • Which platforms it was sent to.
  • The status of each platform publish (success or failed).
  • The date and time it was published.

Scheduled

A list of posts that are queued for future publishing. From here you can:
  • View what is coming up and when.
  • Post now — Publish a scheduled post immediately without waiting for the scheduled time.
  • Cancel — Remove a scheduled post from the queue.

Calendar

A visual monthly calendar view showing all your posts (published and scheduled) on a day-by-day grid. Click any day to see the posts for that date. Use the month navigation arrows to browse different months.
For more details on post statuses, see Post History & Status.

Automations

The Automations section is where you configure workflows that run without manual intervention, using a visual node-based editor powered by React Flow. What you can set up here:
  • Automated reposting — Define workflows that automatically take content from a source platform (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) and republish it to destination platforms.
  • Content repurposing — Set up workflows that take content from one platform and adapt it using templates for another.
  • Workflow management — Create, edit, save, and delete automation workflows. Each workflow has a source account, template selections, and destination platform nodes.
The workflow editor includes:
  • A toolbar with save, zoom, and layout controls.
  • A canvas showing the flow from source → templates → destinations.
  • A template palette for selecting which templates to apply.
  • Canvas statistics showing workflow configuration.
For setup instructions, see the Automations section of the help center.

Templates

Templates is currently marked as Coming Soon in the Soku dashboard sidebar. The template editor is under development. The Templates API for OG image rendering is available.
The Templates section will let you browse, create, and manage reusable content templates. What you can do here:
  • Browse templates — View a grid of available templates with preview images. Filter and sort by content type or creator.
  • Create new templates — Open the canvas-based template editor to design templates with text, image, and rectangle elements. Supports multiple aspect ratios (1:1, 4:5, 9:16).
  • Edit templates — Modify existing templates you own.
  • Add/remove templates — Add templates to your library or remove ones you no longer need.
  • Zoom preview — Click any template to see a full-size preview.
To learn how to create and use templates, see Templates Overview.

Library

The Library is your centralized media storage with folder organization. All images and videos you upload to Soku live here. What you can do here:
  • Upload new media files — Drag and drop or use the file picker. Files upload in the background.
  • Create folders — Organize media into named folders with optional color coding.
  • Rename and delete folders — Manage your folder structure.
  • Browse and search — View all assets or filter by folder.
  • Multi-select — Select multiple assets for bulk operations (delete, add to folders, remove from folders).
  • Manage folder membership — Add or remove assets from specific folders.
When creating a post, you can pull media directly from the Library instead of uploading a new file each time.
For supported formats and file size limits, see Media Formats & Limits.
