Managing Your Subscription

You can manage every aspect of your Soku subscription from the billing portal — upgrade or downgrade your plan, switch between monthly and yearly billing, update your payment method, or cancel your subscription.

Accessing the Billing Portal

  1. Log in to your Soku dashboard at mysoku.io.
  2. Go to Settings > Billing.
  3. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
The billing portal is hosted by Stripe, Soku’s payment processor. From there you can manage all billing-related settings.

Changing Your Plan

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

From the Dashboard

  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the new plan you want to switch to.
  4. Confirm the change.
Plan changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade, you gain instant access to the higher plan’s features and limits. If you downgrade, your current plan features remain active until the end of your billing period, then the lower plan takes effect.
When you change plans, billing is prorated. You only pay the difference for the remaining time in your current billing cycle (for upgrades) or receive credit toward future invoices (for downgrades).

Switching Between Monthly and Yearly Billing

  1. Open the billing portal from Settings > Billing.
  2. Select your preferred billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
  3. Confirm the change.
Yearly billing saves approximately 17% compared to monthly billing. See Subscription Plans for a full pricing comparison.

Updating Your Payment Method

  1. Open the billing portal from Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Payment Methods.
  3. Add a new card or update your existing payment method.
  4. Set the new method as your default.
Soku uses Stripe for all payment processing. Your card details are stored securely by Stripe and are never stored on Soku’s servers.

Canceling Your Subscription

  1. Open the billing portal from Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.
When you cancel:
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You retain full access to all features until that date.
  • After your billing period ends, publishing and AI features are disabled, but your account and data are preserved.
  • You can resubscribe at any time to reactivate your account.
Scheduled posts that fall after your subscription ends will not be published. Make sure to reschedule or publish any pending content before your plan expires.

Reactivating a Canceled Subscription

If you previously canceled and want to come back:
  1. Log in to your Soku dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings > Billing.
  3. Select a plan and complete payment.
Your account is reactivated immediately. All of your existing data — posts, media, connected accounts, and templates — is preserved and becomes fully functional again.
