Billing and Invoices

Soku uses Stripe for all payment processing. You can view your billing history, download invoices, and manage your payment method from the Stripe billing portal.

Viewing Your Invoices

  1. Log in to your Soku dashboard at mysoku.io.
  2. Go to Settings > Billing.
  3. Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
  4. Select Billing History or Invoices to view all past charges.
Each invoice includes:
  • The invoice date
  • The plan name and billing cycle
  • The amount charged
  • The payment method used
  • A downloadable PDF

Downloading an Invoice

  1. Open the billing portal from Settings > Billing.
  2. Navigate to your Billing History.
  3. Click the Download link next to any invoice to save it as a PDF.
Invoice PDFs can be used for expense reports, tax records, or bookkeeping.

Payment Methods

Soku accepts major credit and debit cards through Stripe. To add or update your payment method:
  1. Open the billing portal from Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Payment Methods.
  3. Add a new card or update your existing one.
  4. Set the new card as your default payment method.
Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on Soku’s servers.

Billing Cycle

Your billing cycle depends on whether you chose monthly or yearly billing:
Billing CycleHow It Works
MonthlyYou are charged on the same date each month (for example, if you subscribed on March 10, you are billed on the 10th of each month).
YearlyYou are charged once per year on your subscription anniversary date.
Credits are refreshed at the start of each billing cycle. See Credits System for details.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails (for example, due to an expired card or insufficient funds):
  1. Stripe will retry the payment automatically over the next few days.
  2. You will receive an email notification about the failed payment.
  3. If retries fail, your subscription may be paused.
To resolve a failed payment:
  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Update your payment method in the billing portal.
  3. Stripe will attempt to process the outstanding charge with your new payment method.
If a failed payment is not resolved, your subscription will eventually be canceled and publishing features will be disabled. Your data is preserved, and you can resubscribe at any time.

Refunds

If you believe you were charged in error or need a refund, contact Soku support. Refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
