Account Settings
The Account Settings page lets you manage your profile information and general account preferences in Soku.
Accessing Account Settings
- Log in to your Soku dashboard at mysoku.io.
- Click Settings in the main sidebar.
- You will land on the Account tab by default.
Profile Management
From the Account Settings page, you can view and update your profile information:
| Field | Description |
|---|
| Display name | The name displayed on your account. |
| Email address | The email associated with your Soku account. This is the email used for login, notifications, and billing communications. |
| Profile photo | Your account avatar, displayed in the dashboard. |
Updating Your Profile
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Edit the fields you want to change.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
If you signed up with Google OAuth, your display name and profile photo are pulled from your Google account by default. You can still update them in Soku at any time.
Login Methods
Soku supports two login methods:
| Method | Description |
|---|
| Magic link | A one-time login link is sent to your email address. Click the link to sign in without a password. |
| Google OAuth | Sign in using your Google account. |
You can use either method regardless of how you originally signed up. Both methods are linked to your email address.
Email Notifications
Soku sends transactional emails for important account events:
- Trial expiration reminders
- Subscription confirmations
- Failed payment alerts
- Security notifications
These notifications are sent to the email address on your account and cannot be individually disabled, as they relate to critical account activity.
Deleting Your Account
If you need to delete your Soku account, contact support. Account deletion is permanent and includes removal of:
- Your profile and account data
- All connected platform integrations
- Your Media Library and uploaded files
- Post history and scheduled content
- API keys
Account deletion is irreversible. Make sure to download any data you need before requesting deletion.
