Quick Start Guide

This guide walks you through the five steps to go from a new account to your first published post. The whole process takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Go to mysoku.io and sign up using either Google OAuth or an email magic link. Both options are passwordless and take under a minute.
For detailed sign-up instructions, see Creating Your Account.

Step 2: Choose a Plan and Start Your Free Trial

After signing up, select the plan that fits your needs:
PlanPriceBest for
Starter$47/monthIndividual creators and solopreneurs
Pro$97/monthPower users and small teams
Agency$497/monthAgencies (coming soon)
Every plan includes a 7-day free trial with access to all features. No credit card is required to start. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
For a full comparison of what each plan includes, see Subscription Plans.

Step 3: Connect Your Social Media Platforms

Before you can publish, you need to connect at least one social media account.
  1. Go to Settings from the left sidebar.
  2. Select Connected Accounts (or follow the onboarding prompt on first login).
  3. Click Connect next to the platform you want to add (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, Threads, or LinkedIn).
  4. Authorize Soku to publish on your behalf through the platform’s login flow.
  5. Repeat for each platform you want to publish to.
You can connect multiple accounts per platform and manage them all from the same dashboard.
Each platform has its own authorization process. For platform-specific setup instructions, see the Connecting Platforms section.

Step 4: Create Your First Post

  1. Click Create in the left sidebar, or click the New Post button from the Dashboard.
  2. Select your platforms. Check the platforms you want to publish to. You can select one or several.
  3. Choose a content type. Pick from text, image, video, or carousel depending on what the selected platforms support.
  4. Add your content. Write your caption, upload your media (or select from the Media Library), and customize your message. You can use AI caption generation to get a starting draft.
  5. Customize per platform (optional). If you want to tailor the caption for specific platforms, use the platform-specific caption editor to adjust the text for each one individually.
  6. Preview. Review how your post will appear on each selected platform.
For a deeper walkthrough of the post creation interface, see Creating a Post.

Step 5: Publish

You have two options:
  • Publish now — Click Publish to send your post to all selected platforms immediately.
  • Schedule for later — Click Schedule, pick a date and time, and Soku will publish automatically at the time you set.
Once published, you can track the status of your post in the Posts section, which shows both your post history and any upcoming scheduled posts.
For scheduling options and tips, see Scheduling Posts.
