LinkedIn
Connect your LinkedIn account to Soku to publish text posts, images, and videos as UGC (User Generated Content) posts directly from your dashboard.
Soku uses LinkedIn’s OAuth 2.0 flow to connect your account and obtain the permissions needed to publish on your behalf.
Prerequisites
Before connecting LinkedIn to Soku, make sure you have the following:
- A LinkedIn account
- The ability to log in to LinkedIn via a web browser
Both personal LinkedIn profiles and LinkedIn Pages can be connected. When you authorize Soku, you will be able to choose which profile or Page to publish to.
Connecting LinkedIn
- Log in to your Soku dashboard at mysoku.io.
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find LinkedIn in the list of platforms and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to LinkedIn’s sign-in page. Log in with your LinkedIn credentials.
- Review the permissions Soku is requesting and click Allow.
- You will be redirected back to Soku. Your LinkedIn account will now appear under your connected integrations.
If you are an admin of one or more LinkedIn Pages, those Pages will also be available for publishing after you connect your personal account. Each Page counts as a separate connected account toward your plan limit.

Troubleshooting
”Authorization failed” during LinkedIn sign-in
Make sure you are logged in to the correct LinkedIn account. If you have multiple LinkedIn accounts, log out of all of them first, then try connecting again from Soku.
Posts fail with a permissions error
LinkedIn access tokens may expire or become invalid. Go to Settings > Integrations in Soku, disconnect your LinkedIn account, and reconnect it to obtain fresh credentials.
”Insufficient permissions” error
During the LinkedIn authorization flow, you must grant all requested permissions. If you previously denied a permission, disconnect and reconnect your LinkedIn account, making sure to accept all permission prompts.
Video upload fails
LinkedIn has specific requirements for video uploads, including file size and format restrictions. Make sure your video meets LinkedIn’s specifications. See Media Formats & Limits for details.
Connection stops working after password change
Changing your LinkedIn password invalidates active tokens. Reconnect your account in Settings > Integrations to restore the connection.
Posts appear on the wrong profile or Page
If you have both a personal profile and a LinkedIn Page connected, make sure you select the correct one when creating a post in Soku. Each connected profile or Page appears as a separate integration.
If you remove Soku’s access from your LinkedIn account settings (under Settings > Data Privacy > Permitted Services), you will need to reconnect your account in Soku.
