# Navigating the dashboard

# Navigating the Dashboard

The Soku dashboard is organized into a left sidebar with links to every major section of the app. This page explains what each section does and when you will use it.

## Dashboard (Home)

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a high-level view of your account activity.

**What you will find here:**

* **Key Metrics** — Engagement rate, total engagement, and average views per post across all platforms.
* **Growth Trends** — Sparkline charts showing views, likes, comments, and shares over a configurable time range. Use the time range buttons to switch between 1 week, 2 weeks, 30 days, 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year. Growth percentages update automatically to compare the newest data against the oldest data in your selected range.
* **Platform Ranking** — See which of your connected platforms are performing best. Each platform shows its share of your total metrics as a percentage. Use the metric toggle tabs to rank platforms by different metrics (see below).
* **Top Performing Posts** — Click any platform card in the Platform Ranking section to drill into a detail view showing your top 5 posts ranked by views, engagement rate, and saves.
* **Platform Breakdown** — Per-platform stat cards showing views, likes, comments, shares, and saves.
* **Onboarding stepper** — If you are new to Soku, a guided stepper walks you through: Welcome → Connect social accounts → Enable reposting. This appears until you complete the initial setup.
* **Quick actions** — Shortcuts to common tasks like creating a post or connecting a new platform.

### Platform Ranking

The Platform Ranking section ranks your connected platforms from best to worst performing. Each platform is shown with a progress bar and a numeric value.

You can toggle between five metrics using the tabs at the top of the section:

| Tab               | What it shows                                                                                      | Display                 |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| **All** (default) | Each platform's share of your total combined metrics (views + likes + shares + saves + engagement) | Percentage (e.g. 48.2%) |
| **Views**         | Each platform's share of your total views                                                          | Percentage (e.g. 62.1%) |
| **Likes**         | Each platform's share of your total likes                                                          | Percentage (e.g. 35.7%) |
| **Shares**        | Each platform's share of your total shares                                                         | Percentage (e.g. 41.3%) |
| **Saves**         | Each platform's share of your total saves                                                          | Percentage (e.g. 28.9%) |

All percentages across your connected platforms add up to 100%, so you can see at a glance how much each platform contributes to your overall numbers.

When you switch tabs, platforms re-sort so the platform with the largest share for that metric appears at the top. The progress bars and values animate to reflect the new ranking.

<Tip>
  Use the metric tabs to identify which platforms drive the most views versus which ones generate the most saves or shares. This helps you tailor your content strategy per platform.
</Tip>

<Info>
  The Dashboard is your starting point, but you can navigate directly to any section using the left sidebar at any time.
